Te Paemate

Te Paemate marae is located in Aria, 37 km south of Te Kūiti. The principal hapū associated with the marae is Paemate of the tribal collective of Ngāti Maniapoto.  

The marae connects ancestrally to the Tainui waka, the maunga Aorangi, and the awa Mokau.
