Te Whare o Toroa (Wairaka) marae is one of four Ngāti Awa marae located in Whakatāne. The primary hapū is Ngāti Hokopū.

The whare tipuna, Wairaka, was built in 1912; the whare kai is Tamatea ki te Huatahi. Te Whare o Toroa connects ancestrally to the waka Mataatua.
